Tax incentives passed in the American Recovery and Reimbursement Act of 2009 promote wise energy use, help lower your energy bills and help reduce your tax bill too! Since residential energy use accounts for more than 40% of all US energy consumption, the bill provides valuable tax incentives to consumers to make specified energy efficiency and conservation improvements to their existing home.
